According to information shared by AndroidHeadlines, Google’s highly anticipated smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 4, will be unveiled on August 20 alongside the Pixel 10 series. The standout features of the device include a brighter display, a new dual-chip structure, and increased battery capacity. Here’s what the Google Pixel Watch 4 has to offer!
What Will the Google Pixel Watch 4 Offer?
Just like last year’s model, the Pixel Watch 4 is powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset. However, this year, it also includes a faster M55 co-processor instead of the previous M33. This new auxiliary chip allows the watch to handle five times more workload. As a result, it will be possible to actively use Google’s Gemini AI system on this model.

There’s also a battery upgrade. The 41mm model now features a 325 mAh battery instead of 301 mAh. It is said to offer up to 30 hours of use with the always-on display and up to 48 hours in power-saving mode. The 45mm version, on the other hand, will come with a 455 mAh battery, up from 420 mAh, and will offer up to 40 hours of use—or up to 72 hours with power-saving mode enabled.
The device will also include a wide range of sensors such as SpO2, heart rate monitoring, compass, multipurpose sensors compatible with the ECG app, altimeter, gyroscope, barometer, and ultra-wideband (UWB). Pre-orders will begin on August 20, and general sales will start on August 28.
