LG is launching its portable display model, the StanbyME 2, in Turkey in August. The company has positioned Turkey as one of its priority markets for the product’s launch. The model, which stands out with its portability and smart features, allows users to use it both indoors and outdoors without requiring an electrical outlet.
LG StanbyME 2 Portable Display Coming to the Turkish Market
The StanbyME 2 offers up to 4 hours of continuous video playback thanks to its built-in battery. The battery can be charged via the docking stand or external power sources via the USB-C port.
This design transforms the product from a fixed television into a mobile entertainment display. The hands-free voice recognition system allows users to control the device without needing a remote control. Content navigation can be quickly performed with voice commands.
The 27-inch QHD resolution display offers 2,560 x 1,440 pixels of detail. The high-definition and sharpness display panel enhances image quality in both multimedia content and interactive applications. The built-in speakers automatically adjust according to the screen orientation, providing a balanced audio experience across a variety of usage scenarios.
EQ settings reconfigure themselves based on whether the screen is displayed in landscape, portrait, or desktop mode. StanbyME 2’s audio features are further enhanced with virtual surround technologies. The 9.1.2-channel virtual sound system creates a surround sound experience during viewing.
The α (Alpha) 8 AI processor, which directly impacts image quality, automatically optimizes screen brightness and contrast settings based on ambient light. Dolby Vision support delivers a high level of detail in color and brightness, while Dolby Atmos enhances the depth of sound. These two features combine to deliver a cinematic experience in a compact form factor.
The device uses LG’s award-winning webOS platform, providing access to a wide range of content options, while Apple AirPlay support enables wireless content sharing. LG ThinQ integration allows the product to synchronize with smart home systems, positioning it not just as a screen but as a part of your digital living space.
