Lenovo has introduced a new accessory designed to address the heating issues experienced by mobile gamers during high-performance sessions. This device, called the Legion Magnetic Cooler, features thermoelectric cooling technology, a digital temperature display, and RGB lighting. Available in the Chinese market, the product is attracting attention with its price tag of approximately $20.
Lenovo Legion Magnetic Cooler Announced
The cooler utilizes a 10-watt semiconductor cooling module. Under optimal conditions, it can reduce the device’s surface temperature by up to 20 degrees Celsius. This feature provides a significant advantage for maintaining the device’s performance, especially during extended gaming sessions. Thanks to its large 1846 mm² heat dissipation area, the cooling effect is evenly distributed across the device’s surface.

Users can switch between three different fan modes: “Ice Cool,” “Extreme Cool,” and “Ice Off,” which control the fan speed. In the highest mode, the fan reaches 5000 RPM, generating only 30 decibels of noise. This allows the cooler to be used without discomfort in quiet environments.
RGB lighting not only serves as a visual effect but also serves to indicate that the device is active. The onboard digital display allows users to view the device’s current temperature. The cooler is secured to the phone using a powerful magnetic system similar to MagSafe. An adhesive patch is also included in the box for devices without a magnetic support.
The accessory, powered via a USB Type-C port, consumes 5V-2A power. The device weighs 68 grams and measures 64 x 26 mm. These dimensions also provide ease of use for mobile gamers, particularly in terms of portability.
Developed specifically for mobile gaming and streaming applications, Lenovo offers a compact solution that can directly address heating issues experienced during gameplay.
