The Galaxy M17 5G and Galaxy F17 5G recently appeared on Google Play Console with model numbers SM-M176B and SM-E176B, respectively. Both phones share the code name “a17x,” indicating that their hardware and design will be identical to the A17 5G, which is scheduled for release on August 18. In other words, these are likely rebranded versions of the A17 5G.

The Galaxy A17 5G is expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1330 chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU with two performance cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and six efficiency cores running at 2.0 GHz. For graphics, it uses the Mali-G68 GPU.

The device will come with 4 GB of RAM and run on Android 15. It will feature a display resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, with a small “Infinity-U” notch housing the front camera.
