Apple has officially announced the Apple Watch Ultra 3, designed for sports and adventure enthusiasts. The new model stands out with its 5G connectivity, improved display, and advanced health tracking features. The display technology has also been upgraded to LTPO3 OLED technology, also used in the Watch Series 11, which offers a 40 percent brighter experience from all angles. This makes the new smartwatch more visually appealing even in sunlight.

One of the most significant innovations is the addition of satellite connectivity and 5G support. Satellite connectivity allows for communication in emergencies, while 5G support also makes navigation, streaming, and voice calls faster.

The chipset is the S11 processor, introduced with the Watch Series 11 and significantly more powerful than the S9 used in the previous model. Running on watchOS 26, the device offers an interface that aligns with the Liquid Glass design introduced with iOS 26.

The new Notes app, live translation capabilities, and artificial intelligence features like Workout Buddy, powered by Apple Intelligence, offer personalized fitness and health recommendations. Additionally, the Smart Stack functionality and new wrist gestures have been improved with this update.
