With the launch, the moment the tech world has long awaited has arrived: the iPhone 17 series has been officially unveiled. The top-of-the-line iPhone 17 Pro Max has captured everyone’s attention with its innovations. The device is positioned as the most powerful iPhone ever produced and exceeds expectations with its features.
iPhone 17 Pro Max unveiled
The new iPhone 17 Pro Max features a radical change in design. The familiar square camera island is replaced by a rectangular camera block that completely covers the top of the back. In this new design, the cameras are positioned, while the LiDAR sensor and flash are moved to the far right of the bezel.
On the front, the Dynamic Island punch-hole display design remains. The phone is available in four colors: orange, dark blue, silver, and black.
The device’s display remains largely unchanged. The 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel continues to offer a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate and a 1320 x 2868 pixel resolution. The display’s 2000-nit brightness provides users with a clear image in all conditions.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max’s biggest asset is its next-generation A19 Pro processor. This chip stands out with its AI capabilities and efficiency. Supported by 12GB of RAM, the phone offers storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB.
The camera capabilities have also been significantly improved. The phone features three 48MP sensors on the rear. The main camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and a particularly notable telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom allow for professional-quality photos and videos. The front-facing selfie camera has also been upgraded from 12MP to 24MP, enabling higher-quality video calls and selfies.
While no specific battery capacity information has been released, battery life is reportedly significantly improved. The iPhone 17 Pro Max supports 35W fast charging and 7.5W reverse wireless charging. This feature allows users to charge their devices, such as AirPods and Apple Watch, by placing them on the back of the phone.
The device comes with iOS 26 out of the box. This new version also brings artificial intelligence features like Apple Intelligence. Connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 7 support and Bluetooth 5.3 are also included.
Prices for the iPhone 17 Pro Max were also announced at the launch. The 256GB model is priced at $1,199, the 512GB model at $1,399, and the 1TB model at $1,599.
