Expect bugs and instability in this Android 16 preview
Beta software always carries risk. Xiaomi warns users that the update may break or exclude some features entirely. Users should back up all important data before installing the update.
Rollback options may be limited depending on the device, so early adopters should be prepared for possible bugs and crashes.
Stable HyperOS 3 launch reportedly just weeks away
If you’d rather wait for the full release, rumors point to a September 24 launch date for the first stable version. Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed that timeline yet, but it lines up with the brand’s usual rollout pattern.
Expect top-tier phones like the Xiaomi 15 series to be first in line.
Faster global access shows Xiaomi’s update shift
This early international launch shows Xiaomi is moving quickly on software. By bringing the beta abroad just weeks after China, the brand is closing the update gap that often frustrates global users.
