The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro has appeared in early Geekbench results ahead of its expected launch later this month. Equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite and 16 GB of RAM, it outperforms its predecessor and even edges out high-end competitors like the Galaxy Tab S11 with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+.
Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro benchmark details

Geekbench lists the device under the model number 25091RP04C, a tag previously linked to the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro rather than the standard Pad 8. Two separate CPU entries confirm an octa-core chipset identifier that matches the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Rumors also suggest the tablet will feature a 10,000 mAh battery with 67 W wired charging, ensuring power to match its performance. On the software side, the benchmarked model ran Android 16. Xiaomi is expected to ship the device in multiple memory configurations, with 8 GB and 12 GB as the likely base options and 16 GB as the top tier.
Big performance gains over Pad 7 Pro
Replacing the Pad 7 Pro, the new model shows huge generational improvements. Early results point to a 48% boost in single-core performance and an 87% jump in multi-core scores compared to its predecessor. These gains should make the tablet much more capable in CPU-heavy tasks like editing or multitasking.
Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro vs. Galaxy Tab S11
It also edges out the Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra, both running on Dimensity 9400+. Benchmarks indicate about 6% higher single-core and 12% better multi-core performance for Xiaomi’s flagship. While the margin is smaller than the leap over its own predecessor, it still positions the Pad 8 Pro as one of the most powerful tablets on the market.
Launch window and expectations
Xiaomi has not confirmed a launch date for the Pad 8 Pro, though it is tipped to debut separately from the company’s September 24 global event, which will feature the Xiaomi 15T, 15T Pro, HyperOS 3, and Watch S4 41 mm. Based on current leaks, the Pad 8 Pro should arrive by October at the latest.
With Snapdragon 8 Elite performance, a massive battery, and options up to 16 GB of RAM, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is shaping up to be a true flagship tablet—one that could push Samsung and others to raise their game.
