Honor is counting down the days to officially unveil its Magic 8 series smartphones and MagicPad 3 Pro tablet in China on October 15th. Ahead of the launch, numerous reports have surfaced suggesting a major leap forward in performance and design for the devices. Finally, a new leak shared by reliable leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS) has detailed all the technical specifications of the Honor Magic 8.
Honor Magic 8: Display and Performance
According to the leaked information, the Honor Magic 8 will feature a 6.58-inch LTPO wide-angle flat display with a 1.5K resolution. This panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate for visual fluidity and prioritizes eye health with 4320Hz PWM dimming technology that reduces flicker. The device will run on MagicOS 10, based on Android 16. At the heart of the phone is the next-generation flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This powerful chipset will be accompanied by up to 1TB of storage.
The Honor Magic 8 boasts impressive resolutions on both the front and rear cameras.
