Wyze has introduced its most advanced smart scale yet: the Scale Ultra BodyScan. With a price tag of $119.98, it’s also the brand’s most expensive model so far, but the added features aim to justify the jump.
Scale Ultra BodyScan includes a handle and more electrodes

Unlike earlier Wyze scales, the Ultra BodyScan comes with a BodyScan handle, giving it eight electrodes total four for your feet and four for your hands. That’s double what the cheaper Wyze Scale Ultra offers and allows for more precise, full-body measurements.
The handle sets this model apart from Wyze’s budget scales, such as the Wyze Scale S, which retails at just $29.98. That price difference comes down to added tech aimed at users who want detailed insights, not just weight tracking.
Big screen, wide range of body metrics
Like the regular Ultra model, the BodyScan version features a 4.3-inch TFT color LCD. It shows most health stats directly on the display, though heart rate must be checked through the app.
Here’s what the scale can measure:
- Weight
- Body fat %
- Muscle mass & %
- Lean body mass
- BMI & BMR
- Bone mass
- Body water %
- Visceral fat
- Protein level
- Metabolic age
- Heart rate (in-app only)
Battery life and connectivity
The Scale Ultra BodyScan runs on four AAA batteries, which Wyze includes in the box. Battery life is estimated at up to 8 months. The scale supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, and it works with Android 10+ or iOS 16+ devices.
Smart syncing and modes make it flexible
Data from the scale can sync with Apple Health, Health Connect, and Fitbit. It also supports automatic recognition for up to 8 users, and features special modes like:
- Pregnancy mode
- Athlete mode
- Baby mode
- Pet mode
- Luggage mode
Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan aims for precision over price
This isn’t a budget scale, and Wyze isn’t pretending it is. The Scale Ultra BodyScan is for users who want more advanced readings and hardware to match. With a handle, more sensors, and app integration, it brings pro-level features to a still-reasonable price point, especially when stacked against premium health tech.
