After a two-year wait, OnePlus is finally ready to deliver a sequel to its 2023 tablet. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 will debut on December 17 alongside the OnePlus 15R, marking the brand’s next step in the affordable tablet space. This time, it’s bringing something the original lacked: full 5G support.
OnePlus Pad Go 2 gets design tweaks and a performance boost

Promotional images confirm a few key design changes. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 sports a flat-edged frame with speaker grilles on both sides and a single rear camera now moved from the center to the top-left corner, similar to the layout on Apple’s latest iPads.
It will come in two color options Purple and Black and is expected to ship with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. OnePlus hasn’t said whether more configurations will be available, but more options could roll out post-launch.
5G, new processor, and stylus support on board
One major upgrade is the inclusion of 5G connectivity, hinting at a stronger chipset than the Helio G99 found in the original Pad Go. OnePlus hasn’t named the processor yet, but it’s likely to be a MediaTek Dimensity or Snapdragon SoC with a built-in 5G modem.
The tablet will also support the OnePlus Stylo, making it a better fit for students and casual note-takers. There’s no word yet on keyboard compatibility, but OnePlus may reveal more accessories closer to the launch date.
