Tech giant Huawei is expanding its product ecosystem with an innovative device. At the Mate 80 event, the company officially unveiled its AI-powered companion, Huawei Smart Hanhan. This adorable device aims to create an emotional connection with users.

The next-generation smart companion is more than just a simple toy. It’s crafted from a combination of soft plush fabric and silicone. Its compact design allows it to fit in the palm of your hand. Its lightweight of 140 grams makes it easy to carry anywhere.
The product is powered by Huawei’s Xiaoyi AI. This advanced system detects changes in your voice tone and emotional cues, providing the most appropriate and natural responses. When you stroke its head, its facial expression changes. Gently shake it, it vibrates with excitement.
The device houses a durable 1800 mAh battery. This battery provides 6 to 8 hours of interaction under heavy use. Under normal daily use, the battery lasts for over 48 hours. A full charge requires approximately six hours.
A phone with HarmonyOS 5.7 or later is required to use the smart companion. Once paired, the device records daily interactions in a memory book. The included 3-month SVIP subscription also provides unlimited chat energy.
Huawei has launched this emotional companion in the Chinese market. It hit shelves with a price tag of 399 yuan (approximately $56). All three color options sold out quickly as soon as sales began.
