Xiaomi EV, the electric vehicle (EV) division of tech giant Xiaomi, is rapidly becoming a strong player in the automotive industry, consistently exceeding expectations. The company has achieved significant success by exceeding the 40,000-unit threshold in deliveries for the third consecutive month.
New “Vehicle Purchase Program”
Xiaomi EV’s sales team has no intention of slowing down. The company announced its November performance on Weibo, confirming that total deliveries exceeded 40,000 vehicles. The exact figure will be revealed in the official China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) report at the end of the month.

This sales momentum began in September, when the Xiaomi EV surpassed the 40,000 milestone for the first time (41,948 vehicles). The following month, in October, the brand reached a new peak with 48,654 deliveries, proving that the new automaker has found the right formula with buyers eager to grab high-tech EVs.
This sales performance is fueled by a growing yet focused product lineup designed to challenge established competitors:
- SU7: The company’s first electric sedan, officially launched on March 28, 2024.
- YU7: The electric SUV, launched as a fast-track model on June 26, 2024.
- SU7 Ultra: A performance-oriented vehicle, unveiled on February 27, 2024.
To support this growing demand, Xiaomi is also expanding its physical presence across China. In November alone, the company added 17 new stores, bringing its total number of stores to 441 across 131 Chinese cities. It plans to open an additional 36 stores in December, targeting a further seven cities. As of November 30, Xiaomi operates 249 service centers across 144 Chinese cities.
To expedite the process for buyers who don’t want to wait for their new EVs, Xiaomi announced its new “Vehicle Purchase from Stock Program.” The program aims to provide customers with a much faster path to ownership by providing simple, pre-built vehicles for specific models. All vehicles will be offered with a full factory warranty and comprehensive after-sales service, and some models will even qualify for special discounts.
The inventory offered under this program is divided into three specific categories:
- New Vehicles: Completely new vehicles resulting from abnormally processed orders or from customers unable to pick up delivery due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Official Display Vehicles: Static models purchased from official Xiaomi Auto stores and not used for test drives.
- Nearly New Vehicles: Vehicles that previously had minor defects, possibly during shipping, but have subsequently undergone official repairs and additional pre-sale inspections by the company.
The program will be launched in phases. Priority access began at noon on December 1, 2025, for existing customers who have already locked in orders for the Xiaomi SU7, SU7 Ultra, or Xiaomi YU7 but have not yet entered the billing process. The program will open to all other users at 10:00 AM on December 3, 2025.
Buyers selecting a display vehicle will need to act quickly. They must visit a delivery center within 72 hours of ordering to complete a vehicle inspection. This new system, along with Xiaomi’s promise of a tax subsidy if any delivery delays extend into 2026, suggests the automaker is playing all its cards to satisfy the insatiable consumer appetite for its successful electric vehicles.
