In a new showcase video, Anbernic demonstrated the RG477V handling God of War II and Metal Gear Solid 3 at 4x internal resolution, which is no easy feat. Meanwhile, GameCube and Wii games like Super Smash Bros. ran smoothly at 3x scaling. That performance level makes one thing clear: this handheld likely packs the Dimensity 8300 chip, not the weaker Unisoc T820 found in the RG Slide.
While Anbernic hasn’t officially named the chipset yet, the emulation performance speaks volumes. There’s no way the T820 could pull this off.
