2025 was quite a busy year for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Following the price increase in October, which raised subscription fees by approximately 50%, the “bomb” games Microsoft would add to the library were eagerly anticipated. As the year draws to a close, a leak from Ubisoft suggests that this anticipated big game might be Star Wars Outlaws.
Ubisoft Support Team Let It Slip
An incident shared by an Xbox player on Reddit sparked rumors. The player noticed that despite purchasing the base version of the game, the DLC content appeared as owned in their account. When the user contacted Ubisoft Support, they were shocked by the response.

The support team stated that this content appeared that way because it was “accessible through the Game Pass subscription.” However, there’s a small problem: Star Wars Outlaws isn’t officially in the Game Pass library yet! This situation has been interpreted as an error during the game’s integration into the system, prematurely revealing the planned announcement.
Released in August 2024 and developed by Massive Entertainment, the open-world Star Wars game, Outlaws, hadn’t made its way to subscription services despite a year and a half passing since its launch. However, Microsoft’s October deal with Ubisoft, which added 48 new games to the library and increased prices, is the strongest indication that Outlaws is on its way.
If the leak is accurate, Game Pass subscribers will have access not only to the main game but also to story expansions such as Wild Card featuring Lando Calrissian and A Pirate’s Fortune with Hondo Ohnaka. Kay Vess and Nix’s adventures could become a new favorite for Xbox owners during the holiday season.
So, do you think you would play Star Wars Outlaws if it were added to the Game Pass library? Or have you already finished the game? Share your thoughts in the comments!
