Samsung has resolved the software crashing issues that have been plaguing Galaxy Buds users recently with an official update. Users, particularly those purchasing new earbuds or attempting to reset and re-pair their existing devices, reported that the app would suddenly close during the setup process.
Galaxy Buds Problem Solved
The constant “app stopped working” warnings on phone screens rendered devices unusable, and the earbuds’ configuration settings became inaccessible. To address these connection errors and system instability, the tech giant released version 8.0.00.2500 worldwide.

This critical update completely revamps the code sequences that caused the app to crash in the background. According to user feedback, the error was triggered the moment the earbuds were first removed from the case and connected to the phone.
With Samsung’s new software update, these bottlenecks during the initial pairing and reconnection processes are eliminated. The app now operates stably without displaying error messages during connection and allows users to access personal settings such as equalizer and noise cancellation.
The Galaxy Buds add-on, which usually comes pre-installed on Galaxy smartphones and tablets, needs to be kept up-to-date for efficient operation. The new version, now being rolled out via the Galaxy Store, is available for download on all compatible devices.
Samsung recommends that users check for updates through the store and upgrade the software to the latest version. Initial feedback from users who have installed the update confirms that connection problems have been completely resolved and the application can now be used without any interruptions.
