Preparations for a new Star Wars movie have officially accelerated. Shawn Levy, known for productions such as Free Guy, Deadpool & Wolverine and Stranger Things, will sit in the director’s chair and famous actor Ryan Gosling will take the lead role in the project. The movie, which is becoming more and more talked about in Hollywood, has recently attracted attention with the developments regarding its cast.

According to the information, Jodie Comer is being considered for the female lead of the movie. Comer, who made her name widely known with the seriesKilling Eve, has also taken part in projects such as The Last Duel and Free Guy in recent years.
On the other hand, Jesse Plemons is in talks for the villain of the movie. Plemons, known for Breaking Bad and notable for his performances in productions such as The Power of the Dog, Civil War and Killers of the Flower Moon, is among the names that Disney has offered for the role.
No official script details have been announced yet, but according to leaked information, Ryan Gosling will play the role of a young Jedi’s instructor. This suggests that the classic Jedi-Sith theme may be handled in a simpler and more character-driven way in the movie.
