Another one of Lucasfilm’s new Star Wars series has come to light. The project is headed by Carlton Cuse, one of the most talked-about productions in television history, the producer of the Lost series. Cuse will develop the project with his son, screenwriter Nick Cuse.
A new Star Wars series is coming
Lucasfilm has released a new Star Wars series every year since 2021. However, the company will not bring a new Star Wars series to the audience this year, except for animated productions. While this situation indicates a temporary slowdown on the TV side, new projects continue to emerge that show that production has not completely stopped.

No official statement has been made about the series, which is still in the early stages of development. Details such as the plot, characters or the time period in which the universe will take place have not been shared with the public. However, Cuse’s involvement in this project has increased expectations from the creative team behind the production.
In addition to being the executive producer of the Lost series, Carlton Cuse has also worked on television productions such as Bates Motel, Colony and Jack Ryan. His son Nick Cuse previously wrote the HBO series The Leftovers and Watchmen.
Lucasfilm has released series such as The Mandalorian, Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka and The Book of Boba Fett on the Disney+ platform. Where the new series will be positioned in this universe and how it will relate to existing stories will become clear in the future.
