In April, Honor surprised users by launching the Honor Power smartphone, which featured a massive 8,000 mAh battery. Now, according to a new post by reliable leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the company is working on a new phone with an even larger battery. This new battery has already received certification from China’s 3C regulatory agency.
Honor’s mysterious phone with an 8,100 mAh battery revealed
The 3C database includes two separate listings for the 8,100 mAh (nominal capacity) battery. Both carry the model number HB5668A0EIW, though one is manufactured by Sunwoda Electronics and the other by Honor. This is a Li-ion polymer battery featuring 30.54Wh of energy, a nominal voltage of 3.77V, and a maximum charging voltage of 4.53V.

Digital Chat Station also noted that Honor is working on a mid-range smartphone equipped with this 8,100 mAh battery. However, there is no information yet about the device’s name or release date. It remains unclear whether this model will be a successor to the Honor Power or an upgraded version of it. As known, the Honor Power was positioned in the mid-range segment in terms of specs.
The Honor Power features a 6.78-inch 1.5K resolution 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, an 8,000 mAh battery, and 66W fast charging support. The device runs MagicOS 9 based on Android 15. In terms of cameras, it offers a 16 MP front camera and a dual rear setup with 50 MP and 5 MP sensors.
