Xiaomi 15 Pro features leaked: Variable aperture removed from the main camera
The features of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro devices have been leaked. These two devices will be the first smartphones to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which will be introduced this October. The new chipset will elevate the performance of these devices to the next level.
New information indicates that the variable aperture feature has been removed from the main camera of the Xiaomi 15 Pro. Instead, a 50 MP wide-aperture main camera with a “super large” sensor will be used. Additionally, the device will come with a 50 MP 3x telephoto periscope zoom camera, enabling users to capture clearer and more detailed photos. The ultra-wide camera is also expected to have a 50 MP resolution.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a micro-curved display with 2K resolution. Additionally, it will include an extra-large battery and an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The device is expected to offer a high-quality display similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and generally have a thinner design.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro was not officially sold outside of China, and unfortunately, the Xiaomi 15 Pro might share the same fate. This means that despite the high anticipation from users worldwide, the device might only be available in the Chinese market.
