Xiaomi is continuing its work on the successors to the Redmi K80 series, which was introduced last year. Recent reports reveal the technical specifications of the high-end Redmi K90 Pro model.
Redmi K90 Pro Specifications Revealed
According to a report from Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K90 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (Snapdragon 8 Elite 2) processor and is expected to offer significant performance improvements. One of the standout features of the device will be the addition of a periscope telephoto camera — a first for the K series. Last year’s Redmi K80 Pro only featured a standard telephoto lens.

In terms of design, the K90 Pro is said to include a metal frame, symmetrical dual speakers, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a large X-axis linear motor.
First Details of the Redmi K90 Pro Emerge: What to Expect?
Well-known industry tipster Digital Chat Station has unveiled new details about the upcoming Redmi K90 Pro. The smartphone is expected to feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50Q periscope camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor size. Additionally, the device is rumored to come with a 6.59-inch flat RGB OLED LTPS display, offering 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
In global markets, the Poco F7 Ultra is known as a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 Pro. Therefore, even if the K90 Pro remains exclusive to China, it’s highly likely that the global version will launch as the Poco F8 Ultra. The official unveiling is expected to take place in October.
