Xiaomi, one of the successful players in the smartphone market, continues to receive new updates about the Redmi K70 series, which it launched last month. The Chinese brand recently announced that the series achieved significant sales success in a short period, selling more than 600,000 units in just five minutes and surpassing a critical sales threshold within the first 14 days.
Redmi K70 broke a record in just five minutes
The Redmi K70 series was introduced in China on November 29 and went on sale on December 1. According to the announcement, the smartphones doubled the sales of their predecessor by selling over 600,000 units in just five minutes. Furthermore, within the first 14 days, they surpassed 1 million units, marking a new milestone for the Redmi K series.
It is well-known that rebranding is quite common among Chinese smartphone manufacturers. Therefore, it is highly probable that the Redmi K70 series, introduced in China last month, will come to the global market as the POCO X6 series.
