Honor is gearing up to expand its product offerings with the upcoming Honor GT 2 series, and recent leaks are shedding light on its key specifications.
Honor GT 2 and GT 2 Pro: What We Know So Far
According to Digital Chat Station, the series will feature two models: the GT 2 and the GT 2 Pro.

The standard Honor GT 2 is reportedly undergoing testing with both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8750) and a new, unannounced SM8845 chipset. The SM8845, said to be produced using TSMC’s 3nm N3P process, features an Oryon CPU with a 2+6 core configuration. Its performance is expected to be slightly below that of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, and this same hardware is anticipated to appear in the Redmi K90.
Meanwhile, the Honor GT 2 Pro is confirmed to sport the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850), a chipset rumored to debut in September. Early performance tests for the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 show very promising results.
Both devices will feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED flat display with a metal frame. The Pro model will also include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader.
In line with Honor’s focus on long-lasting power, the GT 2 Pro is expected to pack a substantial 7,200mAh or larger battery. The battery capacity for the standard GT 2 remains unconfirmed at this time.
