Samsung introduced its new wireless headphones, the Galaxy Buds Core, ahead of its big Unpacked event in July. Positioned in the affordable segment, this model offers remarkable features among low-cost products. The Galaxy Buds Core is equipped with details such as active noise cancellation (ANC), high-quality sound support and long battery life.

The headphones positioned under the Galaxy Buds FE support AAC and Samsung’s Seamless Codec (SSC) audio technologies over Bluetooth 5.4 connection. The product has a three-microphone system.

This system not only transmits sound more clearly during calls, but also transcribes conversations with the Galaxy AI-supported interpreter mode and offers real-time translation. With these features, Samsung describes the call quality as “best in class”.
The Galaxy Buds Core provides resistance to dust and water with its IP54 certification. The headphones, which have a USB-C port, also offer wireless charging support. Each earbud has a 65mAh battery, while the charging case has a 500mAh battery. With active noise cancellation turned off, you can get up to 35 hours of usage time in total. With ANC on, this time drops to 20 hours.
Galaxy Buds Core went on sale in two color options, black and white. It first met users in the Indian market with a price tag of 4,999 rupees, or about $58. There is no official statement yet on when the headphones will be available in other markets.
