Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy Watch FE model, which will create an affordable alternative to its smartwatch range. With the confirmation made before the Samsung Unpacked event to be held next month, the technical specifications and design of the Galaxy Watch FE came to light.
What does Samsung Galaxy Watch FE offer?
According to Samsung, the Watch FE comes with a 40mm circular Super AMOLED display with sapphire crystal glass and Always On Display. It is powered by the Exynos W920 chipset with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage.
With a 247mAh battery, the smartwatch promises several days of use on a single charge. The smartwatch, which will support Wear OS-based One UI 6 Watch version, draws attention with its health features. These features include ECG, blood pressure and advanced sleep/heart rate monitoring.
It also supports more than 100 exercise modes for activities such as running with detailed analysis. The smartwatch, which also supports Samsung Pay, can connect to Galaxy phones/tablets for features such as calling, text response and camera control.
Water resistant up to 50 meters, the Galaxy Watch FE also includes GPS support. This means it will be useful for training with map tracking. It will also offer a magnetic strap.
It will be available in Black, Rose Gold and Silver aluminum case options. Although pricing has not been announced, it is expected to have a price tag of around 200 dollars.
