Vivo has introduced the Vivo Y78m to its lineup of Y78 models. First unveiled in May, the Vivo Y78m caught attention with its affordability and its focus on the mid-range segment. Let’s take a closer look at all the features and price of the Vivo Y78m with its 12 GB of RAM.
44W fast charging, 12GB RAM, and more
Vivo quietly launched its new smartphone, the Vivo Y78m, today. Previously revealed a few months ago, the Vivo Y78m is now available for users to explore. Sporting a 6.64-inch LCD screen on its front, the Y78m presents visuals with a refresh rate of 120Hz and Full HD+ quality. With a 19.9:9 aspect ratio, this screen houses an 8-megapixel camera just above it. On the back, you’ll find a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7020 chipset, the Y78m offers a solid mid-range experience with options of 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM. On the storage side, the device provides two choices: 128 GB and 256 GB. Encased within is a 5000 mAh battery. The Y78m supports 44W fast charging for this battery and also comes with other features such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, USB-C, dual SIM, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Currently available in China, the Vivo Y78m is being offered with a 12 GB / 256 GB version, priced at $275.
