A few weeks ago, users shared code hinting that the Support Assistant feature would soon be available in the Apple Support app. These claims have become official with today’s announcements. The feature, which was initially available to limited users, is expected to be available to all users soon.
A post by MacRumors indicates that Apple has begun testing a new AI chatbot feature called Support Assistant, and is currently available to select users. When you click on this feature, you’ll be presented with a few instructions, which you can follow to use the chatbot.

With the Assistant, users are expected to resolve issues faster and connect to live support when necessary. The feature is currently in testing, but it’s unknown when it will be more widely available.
