The update introduces official support for the Radeon RX 7700 graphics card. On the gaming front, optimizations have been added for Dying Light: The Beast. Keeping drivers up-to-date is crucial for players to achieve optimal performance.

AMD addresses several key issues with this driver. It addresses issues with Vulkan in Godot Engine-based games, and fixes crashes in Cronos: The New Dawn when ray tracing is enabled on Radeon RX 9070 series graphics cards. It also addresses launch errors that occurred when using the Oasis Driver with Windows Mixed Reality headsets.
However, not all issues have been resolved. Intermittent crashes while playing The Last of Us Part II continue on Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards. Similarly, crashes are also occurring in NBA 2K25 MyCareer mode on RX 9070 series cards. AMD states that work is ongoing to fix these issues.
These regular driver updates are a key part of AMD’s strategy to keep its hardware current and competitive. Bug fixes and game optimizations ensure users get the best performance from newly released games and a more stable experience on their existing systems.
