Will AMD fall behind in chip technology?
AMD, which has achieved good financial success recently and is said to further develop its production network, seems to be quite active in 2024. It is said that the company, which is in constant coordination with TSMC’s production center, will start production of the Zen 5 series from the third quarter of the year. According to the latest claims, only the low-power Zen 5c processors with the code name Prometheus will use 3-nanometer chips.
Some claim that TSMC may not really be able to meet AMD’s high chip demand. Therefore, some even argue that the company, aiming to increase sales volume, may experience stock shortages. It is said that the highly anticipated Zen series will significantly increase artificial intelligence capabilities, especially in mobile and desktop platforms.
