AMD’s never-released Radeon RX 7500 graphics card has finally come to light after years. The prototype of the model, which the company developed for the lower-level cards in the RX 7000 series but later shelved, has been officially leaked. The images and technical details reveal that AMD is actually planning a wider product range.
AMD is here with Radeon RX 7500
After the Radeon RX 7600 model, AMD did not offer a new graphics card in the lower segment, and it was expected that cards such as RX 7300 and RX 7400 would be released. However, the company gave up on cards in this segment and switched directly to the RX 9000 series. It is stated that cost and production strategies were effective behind this radical decision.

The Radeon RX 7500 prototype that emerged includes a NAVI 33 XE graphics processor. This GPU has 1536 stream processors. On the memory side, it works with 6GB GDDR6 memory over a 96-bit data bus. This configuration offers performance below the RX 7600 8GB model.
According to the leaked information, AMD has decided not to launch models with 4GB or 6GB memory capacity. Instead, it will focus on graphics cards with 8GB memory, which are more profitable. Since Nvidia has adopted a similar approach, the entry-level graphics card segment has been largely abandoned.
The cancellation of the Radeon RX 7500 before its release was a concrete example of AMD’s change in product strategy. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
