AMD continues to expand its optimizations for popular games. With the newly released Radeon Software 24.4.1 driver, popular games will see a performance boost. The hardware giant has also fixed issues in some games. Here is AMD’s new graphics card update.
What AMD Radeon Software 24.4.1 update brings
AMD has released the Radeon Software 24.4.1 driver with optimizations and performance improvements for several new games. The new update focuses on Manor Lords, a medieval city-building game that will be released on April 26th.
For those who don’t know, Manor Lords will allow players to build settlements, manage economies and populations, and engage in large-scale warfare battles in the Middle Ages. For those who want to experience the game at its best on AMD Radeon graphics cards, you can download the 24.4.1 driver.
In addition to Manor Lords, the new update extends HYPR-Tune support to two more games. HYPR-Tune technology for Nightingale and Skull and Bones will provide performance and image quality optimization in games similar to FSR.
On the fixes and optimizations front, Helldivers 2 is getting a performance boost. On the other hand, SnowRunner also addresses various issues in some games such as Horizon Forbidden West and Overwatch 2. Also, screen sharing and VR glasses issues in Microsoft Teams will be solved.
AMD said that some performance issues in Alien Isolation, Dying Light 2 and Hitman still persist. Radeon RX 5000 and above for desktop and Radeon RX 5000M for mobile will receive the new update.
