Android 15 beta 2 has been released, here are the features
Google released the Android 15 developer preview in February and followed it up with the Beta 1 version last month. Now, right after the Google I/O event, Google has introduced the Android 15 Beta 2 version with new features for Pixel devices. Along with this, Android phone manufacturers have also started to act and announced the compatible devices. Here are the features and compatible phones with Android 15 beta 2…
Android 15 Beta 2 brings many new features
During the recent Google I/O event, alongside dozens of AI-focused features, the company also released the second beta version of Android 15 for Pixel devices. In total, twelve Android manufacturers have decided to make the beta version available to users. Unfortunately, the downloadable beta is currently not available for any Samsung Galaxy phones.
One of the most important features that comes with Android 15 Beta is “Private Space.” Similar to Samsung’s Secure Folder feature, this innovation allows you to gather your files or applications in one place with extra security. Access to this folder is only granted after passing through a security step.
Giving extra emphasis on security features, Google introduced the “Theft Detection Lock” with the new beta. This feature, powered by Google’s AI, automatically locks your phone when unauthorized access is detected to protect your information.
Here are the features that come with Android 15 Beta 2:
- Private Space
- Better multitasking on foldable phones and tablets
- Picture-in-Picture (PiP)
- Personalized widget previews
- Predictive Back
