Android 15 era in Honor models

Honor has announced the Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 software update that will bring many new features, including artificial intelligence, to its tablets and smartphones.The update, which is planned to be released globally in November, will first be available to the Chinese market. It will then be gradually rolled out globally.

MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, brings the Yoyo voice assistant to replace Google Gemini. Yoyo will have similar capabilities to other companies’ digital assistants. One of the most striking features of the new update is the artificial intelligence technology that can detect fraud and deepfake content.

This feature aims to increase users’ privacy by identifying manipulated content without sending data to the cloud. As deepfake and disinformation technologies evolve, this is of great importance.
