Samsung, one of the leading players in the smartphone market, has begun work on the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, set to be released next year. The South Korean brand achieved significant sales success with the Galaxy S25 series released in recent months and aims to continue this trend with the new series. However, recent developments may disappoint users.
Galaxy S26 Ultra Won’t Bring Major Innovations
Rumors surrounding the Galaxy S26 Ultra suggest that it will come with only minor updates compared to its predecessor, the S25 Ultra. While users were hoping for significant changes, the latest reports indicate that these will be limited, with few major changes in the new model.

Sources claim that the device will offer a wider screen-to-body ratio compared to its predecessor. However, the eagerly awaited under-display camera technology will not be featured in the new model and will remain exclusive to the Z Fold series for now. The phone will continue with the current hole-punch display design.
The device will feature the same 12 MP selfie camera as its predecessor. Additionally, it will come with a 45W charging battery. The most significant change will naturally be its processor. The S26 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. It is also reported that the phone will come with Samsung’s own Exynos 2600 in some regions.
