While Samsung is using the Android 16-based One UI 8 version on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE, which it unveiled on July 9th, rollouts have not yet begun for other models. As a result, we see the company testing a new model with the new version every day. However, the latest developments seem to be somewhat frustrating.
One UI 8 will be delayed
Samsung’s beta program moderator announced that the One UI 8 beta 4 update could be released next week. This suggests the rollout could be delayed until late this month or early August. As you may recall, the previous third beta was released on June 30th.

As mentioned above, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 devices during this period. In short, with the new beta announcement, the time gap between the third and fourth beta versions has increased to almost a month.
The company, in a statement released through the moderator, expressed its sincere apology to all users for the delay in the beta phase. Users expected the general distribution to begin within a few days of the brand’s foldable phones’ release. Unfortunately, however, no progress has been made regarding the stable version during this time. In fact, the beta build has been delayed.
The moderator stated that Samsung is continuing to fix bugs and optimize the system to provide a better user experience. However, a definitive release date for the stable version has not yet been announced. Finally, according to reliable sources, due to factors such as the delay of the fourth beta, we will have to wait a little longer for the stable update.
