With the latest updates, Apple is narrowing the gap between iPad, iPhone and Mac even further. The new iPadOS and iOS versions are preparing to change the way devices are used by offering Mac-like experiences to iPad and iPhone users.
Apple will bring the Mac experience to iPad and iPhone
One of the most striking changes for iPad users with iPadOS 19 will be the menu bar that will be activated when the iPad is used with the Magic Keyboard. Thanks to this innovation, a menu bar will be displayed at the top of the screen like in macOS, and iPads will have a much more laptop-like structure.

At the same time, an improved multitasking mode called Stage Manager 2.0 is also coming. This system, which will be automatically activated when the Magic Keyboard is connected, makes application and window management more fluid and efficient.
On the iOS 19 side, USB-C iPhones gain external display support. Users will be able to expand their screen area with an interface similar to the stage manager when they connect their iPhones to a screen. Although this feature does not provide a full desktop mode, it will create new opportunities for presentation, editing or widescreen experience.
These updates are part of Apple’s strategy to strengthen compatibility between its devices, so users will have a much more integrated experience. So what do you think about this? Do you like the new features? You can easily share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
