The new design is available today. The new “iCloud.com” page has a much more modern design. As you know, Apple’s cloud service has been available for many years on devices as well as on the iCloud.com website. On the page, you can access Apple’s Email Service, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, iCloud Drive (similar to Google Drive), Notes, Reminders, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and Find iPhone. Until now, Apple has been using a fairly standard design here, but it’s changed that in a pleasing way today.
The new iCloud design is more useful and stylish
Last month, Apple began testing a modern design for iCloud.com. The design is available today. The new page can be experienced by anyone with an iCloud account. The page now displays the contents of iCloud in separate sections rather than icons. For example, the new page displays the latest emails in Mail, the latest files opened in iCloud Drive, calendar content, and photos as soon as you open the page.
Apple activated the new design for iCloud.com sooner than expected. Apple, which has received good feedback from many users with the new design, also offers some settings for customization on the new page. So, users are able to choose which apps appear in each tile or remove a tile entirely. The bottom of the page displays your storage plan and usage, as well as a link to recover recently deleted files from iCloud Drive and other apps.
iCloud is a popular service from Apple in general. However, there are also negative comments that have been voiced about this service for a long time. For example, Apple’s current offer of only 5 GB of storage space for free is frowned upon. Users want the company to give people more storage for free. Apple, of course, sells more storage for a price. The options are $0.99 per month for 50GB and $2.99 per month for 200GB. Then of course there’s the largest plan at $9.99 per month for 2TB.
