Apple introduced its new smart glasses Vision Pro at an event in February this year. Although it was very popular in the early days, some users returned their products due to many problems, especially the lack of content, while some users started to sell their smart glasses second-hand. Apple is preparing to launch Vision Pro in new countries next month.
Apple is bringing Vision Pro to South Korea and the United Arab Emirates!
A recent leak shows that Apple may stop production of the Vision Pro, which has a starting price of 3,500 dollars. Apple reduced the number in the production line a few months ago due to low profits with the smart glasses in the AR / VR category not achieving the desired sales figures. Due to low sales, some factories have stopped producing parts for Vision Pro. Another leak shows that Apple is working on an affordable pair of glasses just like Meta’s Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.
Apple will make the smart glasses available in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates starting November 15, according to a post on X by Apple’s chief marketing officer Greg Joawiak. Apple Vision Pro is coming to South Korea and the United Arab Emirates on November 15th! We are excited that customers in more than a dozen countries and regions will have the opportunity to dive into the world of spatial computing!
If users living in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates want to buy Vision Pro, they will be able to pre-order the smart glasses as of 5 a.m. local time on November 4. With the launch of Vision Pro in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates, the smart glasses will be available in 12 countries in total.
In an interview about the product, which was popular for a while and then lost its popularity, Apple’s CEO admits that Vision Pro is not a product for the mass market. Analysts confirm that Apple will be able to produce 600 thousand smart glasses by the end of the year with the parts it currently has.
