Good news has arrived for the underground thriller series Silo, which is broadcast on Apple TV+. The digital broadcasting giant has approved a third and fourth season in line with the series’ finale. The two-season renewal will allow the producers to explore Silo’s world and present a satisfying story.
Silo third and fourth season approved
Confirming Apple TV+’s statements, series producer Graham Yost expressed his excitement about bringing the story to its natural conclusion. Accordingly, he said that they will tell the audience a comprehensive story about Silo’s existence and purpose.
He emphasized that the last two seasons will provide the answers that viewers have been eagerly waiting for. Silo, whose second season is currently airing and new episodes will be released every week until January 17; tells the story of a future where humanity lives in a giant underground shelter.
Unaware of the origins of the underground, these people risk their lives by questioning the established order and seeking information about the outside world. The series, starring Rebecca Ferguson, who also serves as executive producer, is adapted from Hugh Howey’s popular book series of the same name.
The cast of the series includes stars such as Rebecca Ferguson, Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Common, Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Avi Nash, Rick Gomez and Chinaza Uche.
The approval for the third and fourth seasons actually shows that Apple TV+ wants to produce first-class programs. The streaming service, which is accessible for 9.99 euros per month, is also available in our country.
