Apple is preparing to launch Watch Ultra 3 and SE 3 models this year. The new devices are expected to be introduced in September with the Series 11. In 2024, the company only offered a new colour option in the Apple Watch Ultra model and did not make any major hardware changes.

Therefore, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 in 2025 will feature significant innovations. The device will offer 5G connection support via MediaTek modem. The product is also expected to offer the satellite connection feature introduced with the iPhone 14 series.

Display technology is also renewed in Apple Watch Ultra 3. An improved version of the LTPO3 OLED panel introduced in Series 10 is planned to be used in the new model. This display provides up to 40 per cent higher brightness at certain angles.
On the health tracking side, it is rumoured that the blood pressure monitoring technology that Apple has been working on for a long time will be offered in the new series. However, due to the technical difficulties that may be experienced during the development process, it is not yet clear whether this feature will be added to the devices.
SOn the software side, Apple Watch Ultra 3 will come with watchOS 12 operating system. This version includes design changes inspired by visionOS. There will be noticeable innovations in the interface with details such as translucent views, glass-like surfaces, rounded buttons and subtle lighting effects.
On the Apple Watch SE series side, there has not been a new update for a long time after the model introduced in 2022. SE 3, which will be released this year, will have a faster and more capable processor.
