It has been claimed that Apple will make a surprise at its Glowtime event on September 9. The technology giant seems to be announcing two more much-talked-about products in addition to the iPhone 16 series. It has been stated that the iPhone SE 4 and iPad mini 7 may be introduced.
Are iPhone SE 4 and iPad mini 7 coming?
According to recent reports, stock levels of the iPhone SE 3 and iPad mini 6 have been significantly reduced. This shows that Apple is preparing for new models. While attention is focused on the iPhone 16 and its new features, it is said that the company may introduce a budget-friendly iPhone SE and a compact iPad mini.
The iPhone SE 4 is reported to have a 6.1-inch OLED display and a flat-edged body similar to the iPhone 13/14 series. It will feature Face ID support and the Apple A16 Bionic chip, and is expected to cost less than $500. Wireless charging and a renewed 12-megapixel rear camera are also rumored.
On the tablet side, rumors of an iPad mini 7 have begun to circulate. Instead of completely renewing the mini series, Apple may be preparing a few minor changes. It will not be powered by an M-series chip and will not support the refreshed Apple Pencil Pro.
However, it is expected to undergo some improvements on the screen and camera side. The improvement of both the front and rear cameras will make it possible to take higher quality photos and videos. Moreover, it is expected that this new model will include up-to-date connection technologies such as Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
