Ark Survival Ascended Update 61.42 Patch Notes
v61.42 – Minor version for Clients – 03/04/2025
- Fixed the black screen issue when attempting to join an Astraeos server without the DLC installed.
v61.37 – Minor version for Servers – 02/27/2025
- Fixed cases of meteorites hitting one side of the city on Extinction
- Fixed a case that prevented incubated eggs placed in a Gigantoraptor’s saddle from being hatched
- Fixed cases of Tusoteuthis capability to grab and push players into the mesh
- Fixed the Forest Titan from falling off its platform by reducing its tether radius to match its max targeting range
- Maeguana’s nursing range now scales with Food stat
- Fixed an issue with pixel painting Maeguana
- Adjusted the Maeguana Saddle’s engram level to be after learning the Smithy prerequisite
- Fixed Maeguana’s Fertilized eggs having a decompose timer
- Cosmo will no longer create spider mounds in water which was making it impossible for players to tame
- Fixed player characters getting stuck in the floating animation when unequipping Tek Chest piece while using it to hover
- Fixed BattleRigs gaining altitude by spamming E to mount/dismount repeatedly
- Fixed the Mek’s pistol decal displaying as a green line
- Fixed Lesser Medical (Armor Trait) displaying as -40% healing, corrected to 10%
- Fixed the Top Hat Kairuku Chibi cursed display case animation
- Fixed Love Ascended’s Pillow club skin causing FPV camera issues when shields were equipped
- Fixed Love Ascended cosmetics not having their own folder in the cosmetic tab
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to put disallowed items into a dedicated storage
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to ignore armor or structure type with some creatures

Astraeos DLC Changes & Fixes:
- Added Maeguana Saddle to Easy and Medium Astraeos OSD loot tables
- Added Mantis and Fasolasuchus spawns
- Wyvern Cave is not buildable in PVE anymore
- Bee Cave is not buildable in PVE anymore
- Building Caves are now buildable in PVE
- Reduced Astraeos Outdoor fog
- Birch trees are now a bit brighter and colorful
- Increased Cyclops size by 50% for better visibility
- Increased Cyclops knockback at every attack
- Increased Cyclops 360° Attack damage by 100%
- Decreased Timer for first shootable eye phase from 60 to 30 seconds
- Fixed Purple & Blue OSD not spawning
