At the launch event where Honor introduced the Magic 6 Ultimate and Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design models, they also unveiled the new Honor Band 9 model. Introduced at the launch event, the Honor Band 9 features a screen size of 1.57 inches, up from 1.47 inches in Band 7. Honor is already known for its large-screen models in the smart wristband market, and the Band 9 takes it further by approaching smartwatch screen sizes. However, it’s important to note that this screen is not wider but rather longer compared to a smartwatch. This is one of the factors that distinguishes the Band 9 model from a smartwatch.
This large AMOLED screen has a resolution of 402 x 256 pixels, 302 ppi pixel density, and a 60Hz refresh rate. In addition to being much larger than the previous model, the curved structure of the screen has also contributed to a much more stylish design. Surrounding the smart wristband is a plastic surface with a metal coating. Whether this metal coating will peel off during use remains a topic of curiosity.
Despite the increase in screen size, this model, like the Honor Band 7, boasts a battery life of up to 14 days. This battery life remains consistent with the previous model, offering around 10 days of usage under normal conditions.

Another notable feature among the specifications of the Band 9 smart wristband is its 5 ATM water resistance. This means that the smart wristband is waterproof up to 50 meters, allowing you to use it while swimming.
Honor Band 9 also stands out with basic health features such as 96 sports modes, sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and blood oxygen level measurement. Additionally, a new health application called Fitness Age is introduced with Honor Band 9. As the name suggests, Fitness Age is an application that measures your health age. Band 9 collects health data and transfers it to this application, which then provides you with your health age on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
