These motherboards, using the AM5 socket, come packed with new generation connectivity options, AI-powered features, and performance-enhancing improvements, fully compatible with AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors.

ASUS’s new motherboard family features AI-powered technologies like AI Overclocking, AI Cooling II, AI Networking II, Dynamic OC Switcher, and Core Flex, offering performance optimization with a single click.

Supporting DDR5 memory with NitroPath DRAM Technology, these boards also come equipped with WiFi 7 through the ASUS WiFi Q-Antenna, PCIe 5.0, and USB4, including ASUS Q-Design features to simplify the PC assembly process. Innovations like the PCIe Slot Q-Release Slim, M.2 Q-Latch, and BIOS Q-Dashboard make setup and configuration more user-friendly.

The AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors deliver up to a 16% increase in IPC, offering strong single-threaded and multi-threaded performance for gaming, creative work, and professional tasks. The X870E and X870 boards work seamlessly with AMD’s most powerful processors, unlocking their full potential. The X870E series, in particular, with its dual chipset design, provides more PCIe lanes for high-speed storage and networking solutions.

ASUS’s smart control solutions allow users to optimize their systems, manage cooling, and configure connectivity settings with ease. AI Overclocking accelerates the processor with a single click, while advanced settings like Dynamic OC Switcher and Core Flex offer manual control based on performance needs.

AI Cooling II dynamically optimizes fan speeds for quiet yet efficient cooling, and AI Networking II fine-tunes network settings for a smooth connection experience. NitroPath DRAM Technology, optimized for DDR5 memory, is used in models like the ROG Crosshair X870E Hero and ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi. This technology ensures faster data transfers and more stable performance by optimizing signal paths between the DRAM and CPU. Additionally, AEMP II profiles make boosting memory speeds easier than ever.

The new ASUS motherboards come with WiFi 7 support, and the ASUS WiFi Q-Antenna software offers features like antenna optimization and channel monitoring for a more stable wireless connection.

All X870 / X870E motherboards come standard with two USB4 ports. These versatile ports offer data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps, simplifying connections with high-performance external devices.
