Asus has announced the VU Air Ionizer, a monitor series that goes beyond traditional screen technology and purifies air. Asus introduced its air purifying monitors
Asus VU Air Ionizer series comes with a built-in air purifier. The monitor’s ionizer technology can provide 90% particle cleaning in 1 cubic meter of air. However, this technology is not powerful enough to clean an entire room and serves more to improve the air in front of the monitor.
There are three different models in the series: 23.8 inches, 27 inches and 34 inches. Equipped with Full HD IPS panel technology, the monitors offer a 100Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time. It was stated that the boxes can also be used as a desk organizer, phone stand or laptop riser.
