ASUS ROG Phone 8 features IP68 water and dust resistance rating
The first official share about the series, which we have shared many details about until today. ASUS confirmed that the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series will have an IP68 water and dust resistance rating with a post on the Webio platform.
Considering that the series’ predecessor had IP54 dust and water resistance, ASUS has made a significant upgrade. On the other hand, when we look at the promotional image, we can say that the series will come with a thin frame. Because in the previous series, thick edges greeted users.
Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ was quietly introduced. The device with a Dynamic Island-like display is powered by Helio G99 Ultimate.
When we look at previous leaks, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be in the processor seat of the ASUS series. The front panels are expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a peak brightness of 2500 nits.
The standard ASUS ROG Phone 8 comes with 12 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256 GB UFS 4.0 storage, while the Pro model will be available with 16/ 24 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB UFS 4.0 internal storage. It should be noted that both devices will run Android 14.
