Asus, known for its gaming-focused devices, has also achieved significant success in the smartphone world with its flagship Zenfone series alongside the ROG series. A significant development has occurred regarding the release date of the highly anticipated Zenfone 11 series Ultra model.
The release date of Zenfone 11 Ultra has been set for March 14th
Asus has started the countdown for the newest member of the Zenfone series. The first official announcement about the device, which we previously mentioned some leaked information about, has been made. According to the announcement, Asus has chosen March 14th as the release date for the Zenfone 11 Ultra.
Last week, a source named Td3v1l shared images and specifications of the device on Reddit. From the images, it can be seen that the Zenfone 11 Ultra will have a design similar to the ROG Phone 8. According to the leaked report, the Zenfone 11 Ultra will feature a 6.78-inch, 2400 x 1080 AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate on the front panel. Additionally, there will be a 32-megapixel RGBW selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout on the screen.
Zenfone 11 Ultra recently achieved scores of 2,226 in single-core tests and 6,949 in multi-core tests on Geekbench. The model, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, will come with 16 GB of RAM.
Looking at the back panel of the Asus model, a square-shaped camera module placed in the top left corner catches the eye. It will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS for 3x optical zoom. The device will be equipped with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 15W wireless charging.
