After months of teasing its new vertical handheld, Ayaneo has finally revealed everything powering the Ayaneo Pocket Vert. During its latest update session, the company disclosed full hardware details, showed off some official accessories, and offered information about early pre-orders. The highlight? Confirmation that the device runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.
Ayaneo Pocket Vert runs on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
Ayaneo confirmed the Pocket Vert will feature a 3.5-inch LTPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1440 x 1600 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 450 nits brightness. The compact vertical form factor will be backed by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 an SoC that once powered flagship phones like the OnePlus 10T and Galaxy Z Fold 4.
It comes with two RAM and storage options:
- 8GB RAM with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage
- 12GB RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage
For expansion, the device includes a MicroSD card slot. Other key features include USB 3.1 Gen 2 with DisplayPort 1.4, a headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Ayaneo built the Pocket Vert with portability and function in mind. The handheld will include modern features like:

- Android 14 out of the box
The Pocket Vert closely resembles the Pocket DMG in battery capacity but takes a more premium approach with upgraded connectivity and motion controls.
Its accessories revealed
Alongside the specs, Ayaneo showcased several official accessories designed for the Pocket Vert. These include a hard protective case, a docking station, and a cleaning cloth. The cloth will come in handy, as the entire front face of the device is glass and prone to smudging.
Ayaneo Pocket Vert pre-orders open with a bonus offer
Although Ayaneo hasn’t given a firm launch date, it announced a major event set for late December. Pre-orders begin today in China, where users can reserve the Ayaneo Pocket Vert by paying a CNY 1699 deposit (roughly $240 or €207).
As an added incentive, anyone who places a reservation will receive all three first-party accessories for free.
