Microsoft’s subscription service is experiencing a downturn today. While the library is constantly being updated, this time, the games that are leaving Xbox Game Pass are sure to outshine the ones that are coming. As of today, the list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass includes critically acclaimed titles with millions of fans. If you haven’t finished these games, you might want to act quickly.
Which games are saying goodbye to Game Pass?
JRPG legends are leading the way among the games being removed from the platform as of November 30th. Square Enix’s masterpieces, Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II, are leaving the service. The full list is as follows:
- Octopath Traveler
- Octopath Traveler II
- Lords of the Fallen
- SteamWorld Build
- Barbie Project Friendship
These games will be available until midnight. After that, you’ll need to purchase them to play.

The Octopath Traveler series, in particular, is being removed today, a major setback for fans. Because the highly anticipated new installment in the series, Octopath Traveler 0, will be released in just four days (December 4th). Just when it was the perfect time to reminisce about old games or get started with the series, the removal of these games from the library has upset players.
While we closed November with 5 losses, the Xbox Game Pass December 2025 calendar is quite bright. Next month, ambitious titles like Marvel Cosmic Invasion and Routine will be added to the service on Day One, aiming to address this gap.
So, what are your thoughts on the games being removed from Xbox Game Pass? Is there a game on the list you “wish hadn’t” left? Share it in the comments!
