The Galaxy S series, which Samsung offers with three different models every year, came to the agenda with an important change in 2025. Although the South Korean technology giant plans to expand the series with a fourth model called Galaxy S25 Slim, claims that this device will not be introduced with other members of the Galaxy S25 family have created disappointment in the technology world. Here is the latest information…
Galaxy S25 Slim may be delayed to the second quarter of 2025
The model number of the Galaxy S25 Slim is determined as SM-S937x… The device will be positioned between the Galaxy S25+ (SM-S936x) and Galaxy S25 Ultra (SM-S938x). However, when the codes of Samsung’s One UI 7.0 beta version were examined, no information about the US version of the Galaxy S25 Slim was found. This strengthened the possibility that the device will not be introduced at the same time as other members of the Galaxy S25 family.
Some sources suggest that the Galaxy S25 Slim will be released in the second quarter of 2025. This indicates that the phone will not be introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event Samsung plans to hold in February.
The Galaxy S25 Slim’s specs suggest the device will offer a premium experience. The device, which is expected to come with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with QHD + resolution and 120Hz variable refresh rate, will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The phone, which will offer 12GB RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 512GB, will have a 4,700mAh battery. It is also stated that the device will come with a design thinner than 7mm.
On the camera side, there is a very ambitious hardware. Galaxy S25 Slim, which will offer 3.5x optical zoom capability with 200MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide angle camera and 50MP telephoto camera, will use a 12MP front camera for selfie.
